Sorry guys, I was out of town helping a friend move, and didn’t get a chance to write up my next post. Today I want to throw my workout out there.
There is nothing special about my workout, but I figure I might as well include everything. I think working out is a smaller part of reaching your goals, diet is by far the most important. I am in and out of the gym as fast as possible. In fact, I did back and biceps today, and I was out of the gym in under 45 minutes. The girl at the front desk actually said, “What? You’re done already?”
I really don’t think it should take that long to get your workout in. When I was younger I would be in the gym 1-1.5 hours per day, and the truth is, I’ve probably made more progress on my physique over the last few years than I have in the 7-8 years before that… and I’m not even trying to add on mass.
I usually train alone, unless I’m helping someone, then I have a full time spot, which is great. But one day, I worked out with a good friend of mine, who is in very good shape.
We trained chest together. Well half way into our forth exercise, I was done, exhausted. My friend went on to do TWO more exercises, and then did CARDIO on top of that!
I am not a gym rat, I like quick efficient workouts. I’ve added my workout up top, as a regular part of the site, and you can also click here. Over the last six months I’ve experienced a few serious injuries, so I’m just getting back into things. I haven’t been able to work out my shoulders in five months now(dislocated one shoulder and bruised the other), and I’ve been doing legs for three weeks now after taking four months off (bad ankle sprain still not 100%).
I’m here regular now, you won’t see so many days between posts again.

good luck with the shoulder, dude.
Thanks buddy.
Hey bro, I’m 17 and recently dislocated my shoulder (by the time I start lifting again it will have been 2 months), I just wanted to know if you were able to get back into the groove of things pretty soon after your dislocation. I’ve been rehabbing it hard for the last 2 weeks.
Thanks A lot
Nope. Haven’t done shoulders since Mid September.
But I’m getting old, you’re still young lol.
I sleep on my side too, so it’s delaying the healing. And they are both messed up, so it’s one or the other.
I am wondering your opinion on 5 day a week workouts. I usually do each body part separate. Chest, back, legs, shoulders, arms. I’ve put on 12 lbs in 6 weeks and I’m getting stronger and bigger. Any advise? Thanks
I’m not against it, but I just prefer to be in the gym as little as possible. What I do like about it, is your are active, burning calories for five days, instead of four. But I really enjoy the Wednesday off as a bit of a rest period. What I will do, when healed, is about every 4 -5 weeks have a normal arm day on Wednesday.
